Arts After Hours: The Passions of Emma Goldman. 7-8:15 p.m. at Niles Public Library, 6960 Oakton. Emma Goldman was inarguably one of the most fascinating women in 20th Century American history. This new one-woman play written and performed by Chicago stage legend Roslyn Alexander, captures Emma Goldman’s dreams, struggles and loves on her journey from penniless Russian immigrant to quintessential symbol of the human decency and conscience of workers, women, and Jews in her adopted country.
