The only shopping center in the area like it, the Promenade Bolingbrook, is adding additional options for its patrons.
The Promenade, with its easy access from I355 and Boughton Roads, draws shoppers from throughout the area since it opened nearly 10 years ago and is now providing updates to its selections and maintaining its look with fresh, new remodels of stores.
Five new services, shops and restaurants are scheduled to open at The Promenade Bolingbrook. A jewelry repair shop and a White Barn Candle Company opened last month and later this summer, an Asian-fusion restaurant, will open. In August, MORA, a new restaurant celebrating Asian fusion sushi and Robatayaki style cuisine, opens at Brooks Lane and Sandburg Way. The focus of MORA’s menu is to allow guests to savor Asian-inspired flavors presented as grilled small plates, as well as fresh sushi and sashimi.
This fall, the center welcomes two creative adventures for families and friends. Buzzing Brushes opens on The Row, providing guests with an opportunity to sip wine while exploring their creativity under the guidance of a seasoned painting teacher. Escape Hour Room is joining the mall on Brooks Lane this fall. A real-life escape experience, groups of friends and families are locked in a room and must study the clues they are given to figure out how to escape.
“The Promenade is a terrific location, and we’re always in conversations with retailers, restaurants and entertainment companies interested in being at the mall due to our traffic, tenant mix and ongoing communication with customers through text, email, social and digital platforms,” said Kris Kulcher, marketing director for the Promenade.
According to the center, four existing stores have been updating their spaces; two of the stores have opened while the other two are scheduled to open this fall.
“We’re so pleased to welcome five new tenants to the mall and begin unveiling our four remodeling projects,” says Tom Castagnoli, general manager of the mall. “With our updated stores and the addition of five new shopping, service and entertainment opportunities, The Promenade Bolingbrook is continuing to enhance its role in the community as the place for family and friends to meet, eat, shop and play.”
The freshly remodeled Victoria’s Secret and PINK, Bath & Body Works, recently reopened and also updating its look, H&M, the Swedish multinational clothing-retail company known for its fast-fashion clothing for men, women, teenagers and children, will open this fall at Brooks Lane and Sandburg Way. Classy Nails on Feather Sound Drive is expanding into a new space, scheduled to open this fall, to include additional service stations to serve their clientele with professional manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow and lip waxes.
In addition, several temporary holiday stores are making plans to open this fall. On Sandburg Way, Calendar Club will offer a wide selection of 2018 calendars along with fun toys, puzzles and games, while Ornament Ladies will provide shoppers with the chance to create personalized ornaments and Christmas décor.
