Bolingbrook and Romeoville Police Blotter: May 26-July 3

Note to readers: Information in Police Blotter is obtained from Bolingbrook and Romeoville police departments and the Will County Sheriff’s Office. Individuals listed in Police Blotter charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

BOLINGBROOK

JUNE 29

Talia Bishop, 30, of Aurora, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road at 11:35 a.m.

Maurice Redeaux, 40, of Chicago, was charged with DUI, traffic sign violation and speeding, following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook and St. Andrews drives at 10:22 p.m.

JUNE 30

Richard Robles, 24, of Bolingbrook, was charged with two in-state warrants, following a traffic stop on the 100 block of Schmidt Road at 7:30 p.m.

Bria Turnage, 23, of Chicago, was charged with domestic battery following a call to lot G of Wildwood Drive at 6:17 p.m.

Cardiss Burton, 40, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Palmer Drive and Breeze Way at 9:46 a.m.

JULY 1

A 50” TV was taken from a residence on the 100 block of Somerset Land. Loss valued at $800

Diaron Rhodes, 23, of Bolingbrook, was charged with domestic battery and resisting a peace officer, following a call to the 200 block of Winston Drive at 2:14 a.m.

JULY 2

Jasmine Jackson, 27, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, at 12:28 a.m.

A wallet was taken from a purse while the victim was having lunch on the 100 block of E. Boughton Road Several credit cards were used at nearby stores.

Fallon Grant, 27, of Bolingbrook, was charged with resisting a peace officer, possession of cannabis, driving too fast for conditions, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop on the 500 block of Remington Blvd. at 12:16 a.m.

JULY 3

Vannessa Rodriguez, 28, of Harwood Heights, was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property following a call to the 300 block of Homewood Drive at 2:18 a.m.

Derrick McNary, 27, of Joliet, was charged with an in-state warrant, on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road at 11 a.m.

Martin Alvarez, 38, of Bolingbrook, was charged with two in-state warrant, following a traffic stop on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive at 11:54 a.m.

Officers responded to the 400 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of an aggravated battery. Suspect threatened the victim with a baseball bat at 6:30 a.m.

A wallet was taken from a purse while the victim was shopping on the 200 block of N. Weber Road Several credit cards were used at nearby stores. Loss valued at $3600.

JULY 4

Officers responded to the 300 block of Pinto Drive for the report of a domestic disturbance. Suspect took vehicle keys and threw the victim’s phone causing it to shatter at 7:15 p.m.

Lakeon Gibson, 26, of Joliet, was charged with resisting a peace officer, no firearm owner’s identification card, reckless discharge of firearm, unlawful possession of weapon by a street gang member, unlawful possession of weapon by felon, aggravated unlawful use of weapon and unlawful possession firearm/ammunition, following a patrol stop on the 200 block of Canterbury Ln. at 9:47 p.m.

Karen Cox, 42, of Westmont, was charged with driving in wrong lane, aggravated assault and DUI, following a traffic stop on the 1900 block of Rodeo Drive at 9:11 p.m.

Kari Saddler-Cooley, 23, of Bolingbrook, was charged with battery, following a call the 300 block of Whitewater Drive at 7:38 p.m.

Eddie Salgado, 20, of Bolingbrook, was charged with street racing and illegal use of cell phone while driving, after a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Winston Drive at 6:55 p.m.

Vashti Cargo, 25, of Calumet Park, was charged with retail theft from Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., at 11:35 a.m.

ROMEOVILLE

MAY 26

Albano Bylyku, 42, 1323 Crabapple Ct., Naperville, was arrested at 4:48 p.m. in the area of Route 53 and Material Road for driving while license is suspended and no insurance.

MAY 30

Richard Bozich, 27, of Joliet, was arrested at 5:03 p.m. in the 300 block of South Weber for retail theft.

MAY 31

Nicholas Presi, 27, of Joliet, was arrested at 1:07 a.m. near Renwick and Aberdeen for DUI, failure to yield and use of unsafe tire.

JUNE 6

Johnny Fox, 44, of Chicago, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. in the 1000 block West Romeo Road for an in-state warrant.

JUNE 7

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported at 4:26 a.m. in the 300 block of Emery. Suspects entered a vehicle and took a shoulder bag containing toiletries from the auto.

Elise King, 21, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 4:58 a.m. in the area of Weber and Romeo roads for DUI and improper lane usage.

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported at 6:21 a.m. in the 1200 block of LeMoyne. Suspects rummaged through a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Nothing was taken.

Amanda Nolte, 30, of Joliet, was arrested at 2:41 p.m. in the area of Romeo Road and Arsenal Drive for driving while license is suspended and expired registration.

A theft under $500 was reported at 7:42 p.m. in the 1200 block of Lakeview. An unknown person took headphones valued at $200that were left on a workout bench.

JUNE 8

Melissa Wasik, 31, of Plainfield, was arrested at 4:50 a.m. in the area of Taylor Road and Belmont Drive for DUI and improper lane usage.

Cervando Cerda, 28, of Romeoville, was arrested at 5:55 p.m. in the 700 block of Yates for unlawful possession of firearm, delivery of cannabis, possession of cannabis, manufacture of cannabis and possession of drug equipment.

JUNE 9

Alante Samuel, 23, 18 Huntington Circle, Naperville, was arrested at 3 p.m. in the area of Route 53 and Normantown Road for an in-state warrant.

Arson was reported at 3:57 p.m. in the 1700 block of Raleigh Trail. Suspects intentionally damaged playground equipment with a lighter. Estimated cost of damage is $300.

Tony Jackson, 39, 2871 W. Gunison, Chicago, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. in the area of Belmont and Berkshire for driving while license is suspended, no valid insurance and no valid registration.

Mihir Kansagara, 45, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 6:49 p.m. in the 400 block of North Weber Road for sale of liquor to a minor.

Harshadkumar Patel, 54, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. in the 300 block of Budler Road for sale of liquor to a minor.

Ashley Allen, 26, of Joliet, was arrested at 9 p.m. in the 300 block of South Budler Road for sale of liquor to a minor.

Kellie Somers, 46, of Romeoville, was arrested at 9:41 p.m. in the 400 block of North Weber Road for sale of liquor to a minor.

JUNE 10

Giovany Avila, 27, of Romeoville, was arrested at 3:45 a.m. in the area of Tacoma and Trafalger for possession of controlled substance.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 10:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Saratoga. Suspects damaged a mailbox and threw eggs at a parked vehicle.

A retail theft was reported at 2:42 p.m. in the 200 block of South Weber Road. An unknown subject took five items of men’s clothing with a total value of $89.95 from the business.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 3:37 p.m. in the 200 block of Stamford Lane. Suspects poured painted over the side of vehicle that was parked in the driveway.

Lauren Moreno, 20, of Joliet, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. in the area of Weber and Taylor roads for driving while license is suspended and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Matt McCann, 27, of Joliet, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. in the area of Renwick and Gaylord for DUI and failure to yield while turning left.

Luis Prado, 21, of Joliet, was arrested at 10:01 p.m. in the 200 block of McKool for an in-state warrant.

JUNE 11

An attempted burglary to motor vehicle was reported at 12:21 a.m. in the 1800 block of Sierra Trail. The vehicle owner chased away two subjects that had opened the vehicle. Nothing was taken.

Four criminal damages to properties were reported from 11:05 a.m. through 11:29 a.m. in the 1900 block of Somerset Ct. Suspects punctured tires on four different vehicles at four different addresses.

Felicia Amato, 26, of Romeoville, was arrested at 6:38 p.m. in the 1000 block of Montego Bay Ct. for two in-state warrants.

Derrick Loader, 31, of Romeoville, was arrested at 7:43 p.m. in the 700 block of Geneva for threatening an officer and endangering health of a child.

Edgie Corpuz, 21, of Romeoville, was arrested at 10:48 p.m. in the area of Weber Road and Lakewood Falls Drive for obstructing justice, an in-state warrant, driving while license is suspended, improper use of registration, no insurance and expired registration.

JUNE 12

Jack Lapice, 56, of Romeoville, was arrested at 3:06 a.m. in the 1000 block of Romeo Road for an in-state warrant.

Stacey Jost, 37, of Amboy, Ill., was arrested at 10:09 a.m. in the 1000 block of Romeo Road for three in-state warrants.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 10:53 a.m. in the 100 block of Wesglen Parkway. Suspects threw a rock and damaged two windows of the building.

Jose Mendoza, 38, of Cicero, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. in the area of Belmont and Dalhart for driving while license is suspended and disobeying stop sign.

Thomas James, 38, of Romeoville, was arrested at 8:18 p.m. in the area of Romeo Road and Macon for criminal trespass to property.

JUNE 14

A criminal defacement of property was reported at 5:51 a.m. in the 200 block of Normantown Road. Suspects used spray paint to deface a fence.
