JULY 15

Movie Under the Stars. 7 to 10 p.m. at Deer Crossing Park, 1050 W. Romeo Road. Free event features themed pre-movie activities at 8 p.m. Movie: “Inside Out.”

 

JULY 16

Kids’ Dip & Dash. 8 a.m. at Heritage Fall Pool, 101 Troxel Ave. Participants will compete in a swim and run competition. Participants receive an event T-shirt (limited sizes and quantities). For more information, visit www.romeoville.org/754/Kids-Dip-Dash.

 

JULY 20

Healthy Winners Yoga. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Romeoville Branch Library, 201 W. Normantown Road.  Join for a yoga class designed to help with balance, flexibility and peace of mind.  All levels are welcome. Yoga mats and water bottles are recommended. A waiver must be signed upon arrival. Discovery Isle. 1-3 p.m. at the Forest Preserve District of Will County’s Isle a la Cache Museum, 501 E. Romeo Road. Join in different activities or demonstrations that focus on natural or cultural history. Programs will be held indoors or outside depending on the weather. Drop in anytime between 1-3 p.m. Registration is not required for this free, all-ages program.

 

JULY 21

Promenade Farmers Market. 4-9 p.m. on Sandburg Way at the Promenade Bolingbrook, 631 E. Boughton Road. More than 40 vendors gather to sell fresh fruits and vegetables, cheeses, wines, tea, coffee, baked goods, gourmet olive oils and vinegars, salsas, jams, and even all-natural pet treats. JJC Summer Farmers Market. 2-6 p.m. at the Joliet Junior College Greenhouse Facility, 1215 Houbolt Road, Joliet. Farmers Market season is here, and Joliet Junior College is pleased to bring its annual farmers market for a fourth year.

JULY 23

Busy Beavers Craft Club. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Forest Preserve District of Will County’s Isle a la Cache Museum, 501 E. Romeo Road. Learn to make a craft you can take home. Each month will feature a different craft activity. The free program is for ages 15 and younger.

 

Taste of Bolingbrook. Noon to 10 p.m. at The Promenade Bolingbrook. Free and open to the public. Food, family and fun festival. Hosted by Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce. For more information, visit www.bolingbrookchamber.org.

 

11th Annual Golf Outing. 9 a.m. at The Sanctuary Golf Course, 485 Marley Road, New Lenox. The Knights of Columbus Holy Trinity Council 4400 their event, followed by a steak fry at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The cost for golf and dinner is $125.
