Coloring for Adults: Mandalas and the Art of Peace. 7 to 8:15 p.m. at Woodridge Public Library, 3 Plaza Drive. This workshop will be part educational and part hands-on art activity as artist and art therapist Terri Gregory discusses the benefits of coloring for adults. Participants will color pre-dawn mandala designs, these mandalas are a visual art form related to peace and meditation that have been created and colored throughout history.

CPR Classes. 6:30 p.m. at the Frank Johanik Fire Station Headquarters, 6015 S. Cass. Westmont citizens are invited to sign up and participate. The classes will be taught by the Westmont Fire Department’s EMS Director Lynn Dralle. For anyone who is interested in CPR, this is a chance to sign up and learn more. Family And Friends Concert. 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 5211 Carpenter St., Downers Grove. The program will include Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, a suite from the movie Star Wars by John Williams, The Father of Victory march by Louis Ganne, “The Battle of Kerzhentz” from the opera The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, plus a medley of songs popular during World War II, in which the audience is invited to sing along with the orchestra. There is no admission charge for the concert, but donations will be accepted.
