JJC Summer Farmers Market. 2-6 p.m. at the Joliet Junior College Greenhouse Facility, 1215 Houbolt Road, Joliet. Farmers Market season is here, and Joliet Junior College is pleased to bring its annual farmers market for a fourth year. The 2016 Farmers Market will be open Thursdays from May 26 to Sept. 15.

Wounded Warrior 5K Run. 8 a.m. at Plainfield North High School, 12005 S. 248th Ave., Plainfield. The Wounded Warrior 5K will raise funds for Operation Welcome You Home and the wounded veterans they serve.

Feast of Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession. Following the 12:15 p.m. Mass. at St. Mary Immaculate Parish, 15629 Route 59, Plainfield. This year the Feast of Corpus Christ also marks the 14-Year Anniversary of Eucharistic Adoration at St. Mary Immaculate Parish.

Memorial Day Parade. 10:30 a.m., starting at Ira Jones Middle School, 15320 S. Wallin Drive, Plainfield. The Plainfield American Legion Marne Post #13 will be honoring the nation’s veterans by hosting their annual Memorial Day Parade.
