Romeoville’s Smartest Trivia Contest. 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Friendship Center at Highpoint, 175 Highpoint Drive, Romeoville. This is a night of fun, fascination and trivia. Teams of four, aged 21 years or over participate in a trivia-style competition where teams compete for the coveted Romeoville’s Smartest Cup. Proceeds to benefit the Youth Outreach Commission Scholarship Fund. $40 per team of four.

Community Garage Sale. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register with the Romeoville Recreation Department to be included in a publication of homes participating in the Garage Sale. The publication of homes will be available to pick up at the Recreation Center and Village Hall beginning May 11. Please return the registration form no later than April 29.
Annual Plant Safe. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Village of Bolingbrook Town Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road. Open rain or shine and there will be discounts for early shoppers. Cash or check only.

Digital Mommy-Son Date Night. 6:30 p.m. at Fountaindale Public Library, 300 W. Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook. Enjoy an evening together making digital media projects. Take pictures, Photoshop yourself silly, record videos, design a 3D model and more! For kids 8 years and older with parent.

Park Party. 6-8 p.m. at Mather Park, 735 Sunrise Dr. Join the Recreation Department for some super hero action at our Mather Park Party. Some of the activities include moon jumps and games. A hot dog dinner will be sponsored by the Romeoville Hampton Park SAC. Park parties are a free and fun way to connect with nature and your neighborhood.

Create Your Perfect Wedding. 7 to 8 p.m. at White Oak Library Romeoville Branch, 201 W. Normantown Road. Get the inside information about planning a wedding from a professional wedding planner.
