Players that will be registered at one of the four Plainfield High Schools for the 2016-17 school year, including all current Plainfield 8th graders, are eligible to play for Plainfield High School Hockey Association in the Spring. PHSHA will once again be participating in the Darien Sportsplex Spring High School Hockey program. Fees will include a minimum of 10 games and weekly practices. All practices are held at Canlan Ice Sports in Romeoville and games are played at Darien Sportsplex in Darien. PHSHA is a “no cut” program. Players will be placed on teams based on their ability and knowledge of the game following Evaluations.
Spring 2016 Payment and Fees:
Evaluation/Registration Fee $100 Due on or before 2nd day of evaluation
(non-refundable)
Skaters $450 Due on or before the 1st week of practice
Goalies $250
Two skaters (25% sibling discount off second skater)
Evaluation Dates and Times for the 2016 Spring Season (subject to change) will be held at Canlan Ice Sports in Romeoville. They are:
Wednesday, March 23rd from 7:20-8:50PM and Thursday, March 24th from 5:30-7:00PM
On-line Registration:
Before you complete the online registration, you must either have the 2015 USA Hockey # or you’ll need to register with USA Hockey. If your player played hockey during the 2015-2016 Fall Season, their USA Hockey # is still valid. You will need this confirmation # to complete the registration process. It is possible to retrieve your player’s USA confirmation number by going to the USA Hockey website www.usahockeyregistration.com. Under Member Options (lower left corner) choose Request Duplicate Registration Confirmation and follow the steps.
Once you have your player’s USA Hockey Confirmation # simply go to the PHSHA website www.plainfieldhockey.org and click the 2016 Spring Registration Tab to register your skater with Plainfield High School Hockey Association for the Spring 2016 season. If you were registered with PHSHA in the Fall 2015 the system will allow families access to their previously entered accounts. Once you complete the online registration you will receive an email confirmation. You can pay the evaluation fee online using PayPal, credit or debit. If you prefer to pay your Evaluation Fee by cash or check, you’ll need to print out the email confirmation and bring with your payment to the first night of Evaluations. Your confirmation email will also contain all necessary waivers to be printed, signed and returned at Evaluations.
