The final two roster spots for the 2019 Under Armour All-America Game will be decided by fan vote again this year, American Family Insurance and Intersport have announced.
American Family Insurance’s #DreamFearlessly Fan Vote will match up 32 players in a bracket-style contest over the next several weeks.
Four players were chosen from each of eight geographic regions by the selection panel.
The voting website features the full bracket and video highlights of each player.
Voting is limited to one vote per browser session per 24 hours for each matchup.
Bolingbrook running back Anthony Williams, Jr. is in a tight battle with Connor Soelle from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Ariz.
“I have a lot of family and friends voting for me and the principal is going to make an announcement in the intercom for the school to vote for me,” Williams said. “I feel a lot of support behind me.”
Heading into last week’s game, Williams, a Michigan State recruit, had rushed for 592 yards and 10 touchdowns.
He had a successful Under Armour Camp and got the call that he was in the running.
“We kept in touch after their camp and they recently texted me to tell me I was part of the fan vote,” Williams said.
