PAUL JOSEPH MILLER
Paul Joseph Miller, age 93, of Oswego, IL passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018. He was born in Naperville, IL on December 21, 1924.
Paul farmed for many years in the Naperville and Plainfield area and was a member of the Will County Farm Bureau. He served his country during WWII in the United States Marine Corp serving in the South Pacific, The Soloman Islands, Philippines and Okinawa. Paul has been a lifelong member of the Naperville VFW, Post 3873 and the Plainfield American Legion Post 13. He has been a private pilot since 1946 and a lifelong member of the Air Force and Experimental Aircraft Associations. Paul was also a member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) and a lifelong member of the state of Illinois and the National Hand Corn Huskers Association.
He is survived by his loving children; Tom (Freddie), Paulette (Cary) Miller, Mark (Deena), Joel (Ginger), Patrick (Sharon), Eric (Dee Dee) Miller, and Lisa (Ken) Warpinski; daughter-in-law; Murphy Miller, 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; brothers; Peter, James (Marilyn), sisters; Mayme and Nancy; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; John J. and Gertrude (nee Kling) Miller, wife; Agnes E. (nee Reichl), son; David, brothers; August and John, sisters; Christine, Anna, Marie, Helen, Grace and Dorothy.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, IL. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, August 10, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Community Church, 2003 Hassert Blvd, Naperville. Interment Risen Lord Cemetery, Oswego.
