Tax experts from H&R Block will give a presentation on the Affordable Healthcare Act explaining tax law, penalty and credit aspects, and most importantly, how to reconcile this item on your tax return. Tibbott Elementary School Multi-Cultural Fair. 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Tibbott Elementary School, 520 Gary Drive, Bolingbrook. Students, parents and community members will be able to tour every country’s exhibit and take part in student and parent mentor-led activities. A variety of entertainment is also scheduled including Tarantella-Tibbott Staff Dancers, Reader’s Theatre-Tibbott students and Ritmo Flamenco. Admission to the fair is free.

The Family Tapestry: Integrating Proof Arguments Into the Genealogical Narrative. 2 to 4 p.m. at Fountaindale Public Library, 300 W. Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook. Family researchers often encounter problems. There can be conflicting information about identity, dates and places. After a reasonably exhaustive research for records and information, they must assemble the evidence into a proof argument. Using a case study, this presentation demonstrates how to successfully weave a proof argument into a family tapestry. This program is a meeting of the Chicago Chapter of the Polish Genealogical Society of America. This program is free and open to the public.
