On July 23, 2018, at approximately1:30 am, the Romeoville Police Department responded to a warehouse on the 1800 block of Normantown Road for a semi-truck that had its window broken out. Officers met with the victim of the damaged semi-truck and learned that the damage was the result of a domestic dispute. During the investigation, officers canvassed the parking lot of a nearby warehouse and noticed a deceased female white lying in the grass adjacent to the parking lot. The female was identified as 42-year-old Jennifer Underhill of Rochelle, Illinois. Evidence on the scene indicates that the female was murdered. An investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
It is believed that this is an isolated incident and no danger to the community exists.
