Green Village Program to be held
The 2016 Green Village Series continues on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m., at the Plainfield Library. Heard of GMO’s, but not sure what they are? Uncertain when to choose organic over conventional? Are sugar substitutes really safe? This class, taught by Stefanie Rock of Favor the Earth, will help you decode labels and choose safer products. The Green Village Series is a partnership between the Plainfield Public Library District and the Village to provide the community with environmental programs.
Coffee with the mayor
Join Mayor Collins for coffee and conversation on Feb. 10 at 9 a.m. at the Village Hall, 24401 W. Lockport St. All residents are invited. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the village and ask questions of the mayor.
