The League of Women Voters of Park Ridge and the American Association of University Women hosted a candidate forum last week for candidates looking to represent the Illinois State Senate 28th District.
About 100 residents attended the event, held Oct. 13 at St. Luke’s Church in Park Ridge.
Laura Murphy and Mel Thillens had the chance to share their views of how on a variety of statewide issues, including taxes, term limits and middle class accountability.
Attendees were also able to submit their questions to the two candidates.
