“We are proud to support our library, one of the best in the western suburbs. We hope readers in the Downers Grove area will come to our book sale for some incredible titles, at very reasonable rates,” FOL President Joni Hansen said.

“Anyone who uses the Downers Grove Library knows what an incredible resource it is to the community,” Hansen continued. “We invite any residents interested in giving back to their community with a minimal time commitment consider becoming a board member of the Downers Grove FOL.”

The Downers Grove Friends of the Library is a volunteer group that is known for its monthly “Adventures in Travel” programs and for helping the Downers Grove Library with various projects. There will be a membership drive throughout the month of October.
