Morton Grove police were called to the area of Mango and Cleveland Aug. 31 for the report of an armed robbery.
Officers determined that a female victim had her cellphone stolen at gunpoint, the police department said in release.
At approximately 9:55 p.m., a female caller reported that she had been robbed of her property at gunpoint.
The department said officers and detectives spoke with the victims and determined that the victims were walking in the area of Cleveland and Mango, when they were approached by three or four male subjects.
The subjects allegedly demanded keys and other property from the victims, while brandishing guns and knives, and one of the victims gave the men her cellphone.
The victims said they were then separated from each other, which is when one of them was able to scream for help.
The offenders fled the scene southbound on Major in a dark colored vehicle that was parked nearby.
